Trigeany Linggoatmodjo is a Program Specialist of USAID (United State Agency for International Development), at Rural Environmental Management (REM) office.
She is an environmental engineer, graduated in
1989 from Environmental Engineering department of Bandung Institute of
Technology (ITB). In 1994, she got her master
degree (MT) from Industrial Engineering and Management department of ITB.
The first year of her work experience was with Procter & Gamble Indonesia, Inc., as Purchasing Assistant Manager at Manufacturing Department. In brief, her job was ensuring precise availability of raw and packaging material at an economic cost. In relation with interest in environment, she also took part in factory environmental matters, such as preparation work of environmental impact assessment.
Pursuing her environmental interest, she joined a
national environmental consultant company. For about 11 years, she had work
experiences in the field of Indonesia's environment, ranging from initial
environmental statement to environmental impact assessment projects for various
scales of development activities. During implementation of environmental
projects, she had been to the several project field sites throughout Indonesia
on which she worked closely with both national and local government agencies. In
addition to her position as Project Manager, she was also the team expert for
air and water quality. Having interest and capability in industrial and its
management aspects, she was also involved in several Feasibility Studies and
Industrial Engineering projects. In May 2001, she joined United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as a Program Specialist in the office of Rural Environmental Management. Her current portfolio is East Asia Pacific Environmental Initiative (EAPEI). As the EAPEI Program Specialist, she act as an official USAID representative on project field visit to monitor planned, ongoing and completed EAPEI activities (monitoring, reviewing, writing report and brings field finding and problems to the supervisor’s attention, grantee and other REM team member as needed). she assists in the review of annual work plans, monitoring and evaluation plans and collaboratively with other USAID grant program manager. During implementation of the work, she works closely with relevant Government of Indonesia (GoI) representatives, international & local Non Government Organization (NGO), private sectors group, donors and other institutions, as well as contractors of Natural Resources Management (NRM) program. she also have responsibility in monitoring other USAID office programs, USAID Washington G/ENV (Global/Environment) programs and other USG (United States Government) programs and identifies opportunities for coordination and collaboration with USAID Indonesia’s NRM program.
